Digital work the school has learnt during Spring term:

EYFS

EYFS have learnt how to build different houses and homes, in the world of Minecraft.

Year 1

Year 1 learnt more about their topic of dinosaurs. They learnt to be digital archaeologists and dig up bones and create dinosaurs with them. They were also able to meet dinosaurs via AR (Augmented Reality). Lots of fun was had by both children and adults!

Year 2

Year 2 dressed up as their favourite book characters for World Book Day. Look at their work, their outfits and also hear them describe their character.

Year 3

Year 3 learnt about the digestive system. They searched the hall to find the different QR codes, they scanned them to show the roles of the different organs and then placed them on a peer.

Year 4

Year 4 learnt about the Vikings and Anglo-Saxons. They created a village in a Minecraft world together, using only the resources available in the Anglo-Saxon times. There was a lot of collaboration amongst the children and excellent, authentic buildings were created.

Year 5

Year 5 learnt about the Victorians throughout the Spring term. They then presented all their findings through the Microsoft associated app Wakelet. The children were able to use weblinks, images and even GIF's to show all they had learnt.

Year 6

Year 6 children learnt about Little Red Riding Hood and created a story map on Microsoft Whiteboard. They inserted images and created captions for their characters.
