Twenty-four of our talented musicians from across Key Stage 2 were given the opportunity to see a live orchestra performing at the Sheldonian Theatre in Oxford.  The Oxfordshire County Youth Orchestra performed a repertoire of sea-themed music including Henry Wood's Fantasia on British Sea Songs and a medley of music from the film, The Little Mermaid.  Children could hear each part of the orchestra play, and see how they all worked together under the direction of the conductor.  "I was surprised how loud they could get!"

Thank you to Mr Austin and Mrs Stroud for supporting this trip and enabling the pupils to have such a wonderful experience.
